What is coaching?
Coaching is an empowering process of discovery in which you make your own choices, find the answers to your questions and unlock your full potential. The coach's role is to support and encourage you in this process. Coaching is not about the coach providing the solutions to your issues but instead is based on the belief that each person has the resources within them to have, be or do anything they want. Coaching can provide the release mechanism to activate these resources.
Coaching is completely forward-focused and does not dwell on past issues. The emphasis is on setting realistic goals for the future and moving forward. It is a wholly positive process. As your coach, I will be non-judgemental, objective and will always listen to you.
What issues can you help me with?
Anything! For example:
- confidence and motivation
- career changes
- starting or developing a business
- work/life balance
- relationships
- fitness, health and weight loss
- lifestyle changes
- finances
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on your individual requirements and circumstances. I tend to work with clients in blocks of 4 - 6 sessions held weekly or fortnightly. Coaching can be done face-to-face or on the telephone.
